Description

Hello, for sale is our Extremely rare SAAB Turbo 16S, Full Pressure Turbo with factory fitted Red APC and 16" Aero wheels in Scarab Green.

Condition:
Mechanically and structurally sound. Recently serviced and MOT'd in January 2025, and it's running good. Electric roof working.
Exterior: Very good. The bonnet and boot have been resprayed and they did a fantastic job, you wouldn't notice any colour difference with the rest of the car. There is a small amount of bubbling on the passenger side from wheel arch, as shown in photos.
Interior: In very good condition for age, and you could probably clean it up to be great, no tears on the leather seats just some crease marks. No cracking on the dash. Some rusting in the door sills as to be expected on these cars of this age, it's not too bad and I have just sprayed some wax-oil on it to prevent spread. At some point the steering wheel has been replace by a later Saab 900 one not sure why, but the horn works and it fits the look still with the wood finish.

* Also included is a bag of spare parts including brake discs, brakes shoes, air filter, hoses and other parts that we were handed when we bought the car, we haven't fitted them as our local garage on fits parts they source themselves, but they will all be included.
* Also included are some panels including door sills and others that I haven't worked out where they go but they were also included when we bought the car a few years ago.

Someone tried to break into it last year, they didn't succeed but stuck screwdriver into the passenger side lock so that key barrel doesn't work now. Central locking still works so you can still lock both sides, but the key wont turn in the passenger side for manual locking. We just got used to it, but you may be able to repair or replace the barrel in that door. It's priced it to reflect this.

Why we are selling: It's my wife's car, we are not collectors or specialists, she just loved the car so we bought it. We are now moving from near Wales to London and sadly won't have room to park it or plus the expense of ULEZ charges. We have taken good care of it and it has a tons of invoices covering decades of maintenance. Work carried out by Mark at Cromwell SAAB. Previously maintained by Two Stroke to Turbo, Robert Holden SAAB, and Baylis SAAB in Gloucester (now Vauxhall). Everything works as it should. MOT until 11/ 01/ 2026. Next MOT due 11/ 01/ 2026, Green, 5+ owners. Vehicle registered 26/ 11/ 1992. We just love this car, it runs great, and looks and sounds lovely and always turns heads.
