History & Provenance
This cherished vehicle has been owned by me for 7 years, is registered to me at my home address and i have the log book.
I am a Saab enthusiast of over 30 years.
There is an extensive history file that comes with the car as well as detailed service records.
Supplied new by Saab Franchised dealers Swedish Car Centre in London. Comprehensive document pack includes old tax disks, MOTs’ and service records.
I have the original brochures, book pack & handbook.
Mechanicals
This vehicle can only be described as in remarkably smart condition for its age with much time, money and love being invested in car.
Both engine and manual gearbox run faultlessly.
Stainless steel PowerFlow exhaust system with twin tips. Accentuates the 16V burble.
Full Engine out rebuild conducted during my ownership in 2021 including Piston rings, Head gasket and Timing chain, Guides, Pulleys and Tensioners in 2021 by Steve Wood at Tettenhall Saab who are Classic Saab 900 Specialists. I have a full photographic record and paperwork for all works done.
Full Removal & refurbishment of steering rack conducted by Coventry Power Steering LTD.
Battery under warranty till 2027. Paperwork present.
Turbo boosts as it should with the distinctive Saab note putting a smile on my face every time.
Many new parts have recently been fitted including front ball joints, new central locking motor, boot struts, ignition switch, numerous rubber air pipes, air flow sensor, oil sensor light, and a complete new ignition system to include; coil, leads, rotor, spark plugs and distributor cap.
A full engine flush, filter and oil change were performed at the same time as the MOT.
Car has a new MOT till 2/ 10/ 26. Passed MOT with no advisories.
Car runs and drives beautifully with a sweet note.
Body work
This is the most desirable version of this car being the 2 Door Manual Coupe with full Aero kit. In my opinion the convertible simply does not do this masterclass of design justice.
Finished in Platana Grey Metallic the exterior is in superb overall condition with no rust, scratches or dents.
Also features a super rare Factory supplied Original Carlsson Whale Tail with the original rubber. This is not a nasty ill-fitting retro fibre glass copy made in Poland or china.

Wheels
Rare as hens teeth factory 16” Carlsson Wheels finished in anthracite to match the car.
All 4 premium grade Goodyear tyres are in excellent order with plenty of tread on them. The front tyres are brand new. 4 Wheel laser alignment has also been done
Interior & Coachwork
Seats are upholstered in original Labrador velour which is in remarkably clean condition.
The door cards, roof lining, rear parcel shelf, boot space and rear pillars are in fresh non sagging condition having been retrimmed at great expense by Roger Davies Coachworks of Birmingham.
Overall the interior is in clean and excellent condition.
Electrics
All electrics work perfectly including the central locking, fans, windows, wipers, water pump, bluetooth head unit and no warning lights on dash.
The sound system has been up rated to a sony removable head set with CD and uprated speakers.

A banger with little or no history that is hiding a myriad of structural / mechanical / electrical faults that will bite you within the first week of ownership. You can find these cheaper depending on how many holes they have in them and what is missing / not working.
