Offered, in excellent running order, my cherished MG. I have owned the car for 10 years, It has always been stored in an air conditioned space in my ownership and that of previous owner, The previous owner had restored and rebuilt the car from chassis up with new ash body frame in the late 70's early 80's,( Many receipts available). The car has been driven around most of the famous racing circuits in Europe by the previous owner ( not raced).
It had a major engine rebuild in 2000 with gas flowed cylinder head and straight through exhaust fitted (sounds great!) for enhanced performance. New valve seats ensure no problems running on unleaded E5 petrol. I have taken the car on tour in UK and France including day runs of 250 miles. and the car has been totally reliable. The leather upholstery is original complete with patina and aroma! I like it but obviously it is showing it's age now. The front wings currently fitted are grp for lightness/ performance. Anti roll bar is fitted.
I can supply virtually as new steel wings if required at extra cost. Otherwise these will be sold separately. The towbar was fitted for towing a camping trailer. Seat belts are fitted. Handbooks and workshop manuals with a total value of £180 are included. Original logbook. Spares including Dynamo, fuel pump, water pump and gasket sets are included. The car is not concourse but is in excellent condition mechanically and structurally . It is a joy to drive.
