MOT until August 29th 2025. Here for sale is my stunning example of a rare, low mileage factory manual BMW E92 335i.
I have owned the car for about 1. 5 years and in that time it has covered 12, 000 miles as my daily driver without fault. In my ownership the car has benefitted from 4 Michelin PS4 tyres, ‘walnut blasting’ to clean out the intake valves from carbon deposits at a reputable N54 engine specialist, a service at BMW Sytner Leicester and a new K&N air filter (the only modification from standard). I have always garaged the car and to my knowledge it has been garaged its whole life.
Previously to me, my father bought the car from an elderly gentleman (who also happened to be a massive car enthusiast and former president of the Bristol motor club) whose health was prohibiting him from driving. This gentleman was the second owner but bought it when it was only a couple of years old. My dad bought the car with the intention of turning it into a track car, given this particular model of engine being well known for its tuning potential, as well as the fact it was a manual with no sunroof. However when I went to pick the car up with him and first drove it, I thought it’d be a travesty to ruin this car and quickly agreed to purchase it off him!
The car itself drives beautifully. It is effortlessly quick with a wonderful stock exhaust tone, yet super refined and comfortable, belying its age of 18 years. The car has always ran on Shell V Power in my ownership and was ensured by the previous owner to my dad that it was always ran on premium fuel.
The gearbox and clutch both feel box fresh and so intuitively weighted, it really makes it a pleasure to change gear in this car! The hydraulic rack provides genuine steering feel modern cars can’t match, and the car drives arrow straight, with the suspension also feeling solid.
The interior is in brilliant condition, with the drivers seat showing very little signs of wear or sag. The passenger seat is nearly as new and the rear seats look as if they’ve never been used. The car is pictured with some official BMW rubber mats I purchased last year, however the car also come with the original mats.
Bodywork wise the car is in good condition considering it’s age. The paintwork is in very good nick, however there are areas that will need attention for the car to be perfect. The edge of the drivers door has been touched up as well as very slightly on the passenger side. The front bumper also has a thin dent, just below the fog light as pictured. The passenger door mirror also has a slight scuff mark. The grill in the front bumper has a small hole in it, although I have a genuine spare that is included in the sale.
Other than that the only other small issue is the check bulb light comes on when starting. All the lights are working, this is usually very easily remedied.
This is a great example of a great car. It could be enjoyed as I have completely stock, or turned into the ultimate sleeper !
