Shell
Stripped, blasted, undercoated. Repairs included new front floor pans, new offside door pillar, new inner wing strengthening sections, new offside door lower section and new battery tray. Some minor repairs to sills and boot floor. Underside coated with stone chip and full respray.
Trim
All seats, door cards and rear inner arches trimmed with new material. New sound deadening underlay and carpets. New roof lining. New door and window seals all round. New bonnet seal. New Pilkington front windscreen. New rear strut covers. Refurbished original steering wheel. New seat belts.
Engine and gearbox
Recessed block for works type head gasket (new). New main bearings. New piston rings on Omega pistons. Camshafts reprofiled to fast road specification by Piper Cams. New gaskets and seals all round. New Hi-torque starter motor. New 65A alternator. New Mocal oil cooler. Radiator rebuilt with new triple core. New twin 9” electric fans. New water pump. New crankshaft drive pulley with new belt. Cylinder head extensively rebuilt. Weber carburettors and inlet manifold refurbished and re-jetted. (A pair of newly refurbished Dellorto 48's, ready to fit, will come with the car) Powerspark electronic ignition retrofitted to original Delco distributor. New coil, plugs and leads. New stainless steel 2-box exhaust system. New works type engine mountings. Newly refurbished Getrag 235/ 5 dogleg gearbox installed. New gearbox mounting. New clutch assembly with new thrust bearing and new clutch cable.
Suspension, brakes and steering
All suspension components blasted, and powder coated. Fully poly bushed. New Bilstein shocks all round. New disks and drums. New pads and shoes. All new brake lines with Goodrich braided hoses. New (old stock) master cylinder and brake balancer. Refurbished front calipers, new rear wheel cylinders. New front brake backing plates. New handbrake cable. New high ratio steering rack. New 13” Toyo Prox tires all round. New wheel bearings all round. Original HS wheels all refurbished in chrome shadow paint.
Miscellaneous
New (old stock) Cibie headlights. New electric fuel pump with impact shutoff switch installed. New spare tire. Fuel tank flushed, cleaned and coated internally. New fuel sender unit. New fuel hoses.
