Original Book Pack, Service book and invoices are present, documenting early maintenance with Vauxhall and Monkfish Performance, and more recent servicing carried out by a specialist familiar with this type of vehicle. High-quality oils such as Royal Purple and Valvoline have been used, with parts supplied by Walkinshaw Performance. Always run on Shell V-Power and carefully warmed up.
This car is one of the first VZ Monaros imported into the UK and was originally a Vauxhall press vehicle (supporting letter included).
I have owned the car for almost 12 years. Prior to my ownership, it belonged to a (mature) husband and wife who purchased it from Hartwell Vauxhall in August 2007 with just 10, 000 miles (invoice available).
In my opinion, the performance modifications strike an excellent balance—making the car suitable for daily use while still delivering strong performance, a great exhaust note and respectable fuel economy when desired. During my ownership, the car has not been used on a track or for similar purposes, and it is unlikely it was used in that way previously. As reflected in the MOT history, it has seen very limited use, primarily for car shows and occasional weekend drives.
The underside is solid and dry and remains free from heavy underseal.
The vehicle is currently SORN. Any test drives will be conducted by myself, limited to a maximum of two viewers at a time. Serious enquiries only, please.
