The car was 1st registered 1. 11. 1989, it is a right hand drive U. K. specification car and comes with 3 sets of keys. It has a nearly full Service History with original Service Brochure and Handbook. The current M. O. T. runs until April 2026. I purchased the car from a private seller in 2020 and it came with a good history file with invoices and past M. O. T. s.
It has an automatic 4 speed gearbox with overdrive and changes gear as smooth as silk.
The bodywork and paint (metallic grey) is excellent for the year.
The wheels are original and in good condition, tyres are good with 8mm tread depth.
The engine 3. 0L turbo 7M GTE, in my opinion the best of the Mk3 engines.
The turbo was rebuilt in February 2023 and has since done approximately 1, 000 miles since the rebuild.
The oil pressure on the engine is very good and runs beautifully smoothly.
The brakes have had a new master cylinder and fluid change, new brake hoses, ventilated discs and pads all round and the calipers were rebuilt at the same time March 2024.
The power steering and suspension is all good, new track rod end and wheel alignment done at last M. O. T. April 2025.
The car has its original tool kit.
Interior
Dark blue leather seats in very good condition, no rips or tears and since my ownership has been fed with leather conditioner regularly.
The interior trim, door cards, head lining, carpets with over mats are in very good condition.
Even the rear luggage cover is in good condition and unfaded.
The air conditioning works very well, it has had a new condensor and dryer and was regassed in August 2024.
The invoices show that the previous owner had a new head gasket and numerous other jobs done in May 2019, approximately 3000 miles ago just before I purchased the car, it hadn't blown but for peace of mind he wanted to address any issues that might crop up.
This car is ready to go and be driven anywhere. I purchased the car for its stunning looks and performance, as is said it does look like it's going 100m. p. h. stood still, and in my opinion it is in the best colour, looking sporty with real class. It is an absolute pleasure to drive, a real drivers car and being automatic effortless and when the turbo kicks in it shows it's stunning performance.
This car is a real head turner and stands out amongst the modern euro boxes of today, it is supremely comfortable and an excellent driving experience.
I am only selling the car as I have purchased another classic more befitting my senior years and will be very sorry to see it go.
