Description
I have owned this vehicle since 2006. As far as I am aware there were two previous owners, a father and son. It comes with receipts for work done to it and parts fitted. It has a detailed history of the engine rebuild by Peter Edney and has only done a low mileage since. At the same time it was fitted with a Ford Type 9 5speed gearbox which makes it much more useable in modern traffic. (The original 4speed gearbox is available with the car) The car is in very good condition, both mechanically and cosmetically. It is red in colour with red seats and black carpets and a beige colour hood. The chrome is mainly original and is in good condition except for some rust on the side panels of the petrol tank (see photograph). A stainless steel luggage rack is fitted. A stainless steel exhaust system is fitted and recently the front shock absorbers were replaced and the braking system rebuilt and a new battery.
The Brookland screen and spot lamp come with the car but are not fitted. The original screw jack is with the car.
Bad Points
The minute hand is missing from the clock which isn't working.
Temperature gauge has very recently developed a fault of showing higher temperature. This isn't a big problem as the car is fitted with a Kenlowe electric fan. This is a lovely car that gets you noticed every time you go out in it and I am only selling because of old age (me) and failing mobility.
