Description
This Z200 is the baby of Kawasaki’s 1980’s Z range of bikes. Its lightweight, fuel economy, handling and reliability make it a practical everyday classic.
It is in very good condition, the paintwork on both the frame and body work are in very good condition. The chrome has the patina you would expect from a 44 year old bike, it’s worn but not peeling.
It has now historic status, so tax and test exempt. Despite this it does have a current Mot and is currently in use.
It has just been serviced and a set of new clutch plates and springs fitted. The seat has had a new cover.
The speedo was changed at 10, 000 miles, I have documents to verify this.
It comes with a history file, repair manual, tool kit, 2 sets of keys. The V5 is in my name.
For sale, as I really must reduce my collection. The Z 200 was the bike I took my test on, 45 years ago. I not only used for every day transport, but also used it to tour as well, it’s perfectly comfortable and capable of carrying a pillion passenger, with a surprising amount of power for a 20hp 4 stroke single, its fun to ride and cheap to run.
Despite bringing back memories of earlier days, my collection of motorcycles has exceeded a sensible number and I must find new homes for some of my collection.
