Restored to a high standard 11 years ago by myself, it has not done 300 miles since. It has all matching numbers and original log book. It will also include a spare engine and gearbox along with other spares like the gas lights that need restoration. Foot rest and rubbers, Honda pistons already machined as I had to purchase four so I machined them all at the time, mag parts, wheel bearings, oil pumps etc and more. I did a five year Toolmaking apprenticeship at the Douglas factory, so I had a passion for the Douglas mark. This one was originally registered in Bath and never went far from the Douglas factory.
I enjoy restoring rather than riding and so now I think it’s time someone who enjoys riding a 100 year old bike to take it on.
