Description

This is my 9 Roadster that I have owned since 1987. It was imported from the USA about that year but is RHD.
The car was imported into the USA by Fergus Motors of New York and carries a dash badge to show that. It had spent most of its life in Texas and Arkansas and although well-used and in need of restoration it was complete and rust free. Some US documentation is held by me. It was registered in the UK by me at that time.
The car was completely restored by me but with a professional engine rebuild, respray, re-chroming and re-upholstery in its original colours of Black and red. At that time a new hood, side screens and tonneau were fitted. A number of spare parts are included.
In the intervening years the car has been used regularly for general running as well as old vehicle shows and Singer Events. It has always run well and been trouble-free. In all that time I cannot recall one breakdown (except a puncture).
There is a full file with the car showing receipts and other documentation. It was MoT'd every year until it became exempt. The car is in good serviceable condition and ready to use with no work required. It has always been stored in a garage. The bodywork is not concours and has one or two small marks as befits general use.
It is a practical, attractive classic that always draws attention.
This is a rare model of a quite rare type.
