Beautiful Spanish built 1978 Citroen mehari. Refurbished to a very good standard on an SLC galvanised chassis. New Body in bright yellow, new wheels and tyres, new soft top and frame, converted to disc brake, new rear seat and new seat covers ready to fit on front seats ( when required), tubulaire shot blasted, zinc rich primer and 2 good coats of epoxy 2 part paint, then sprayed internally and externally with wax oil. Starts first time every time. Drives as a mehari should. Turns heads and puts smiles on faces everywhere she goes. She is only used locally and only in fine weather and has only covered a few hundred miles since refurb. Meharis are rare in the U. K. with estimates of fewer than 200 in the country and many of these not on the road. A usable and appreciating classic which won’t go rusty. Attracts attention everywhere she goes. All spares readily available in new and second hand so very easy to keep rolling. Simple and reliable mechanics mean you spend more time out and about and less time in the workshop.
