This Tudor sedan was imported from Uruguay many years ago with a restored body. It was not advertised but a friend mentioned it to me and I rang the owner and a deal was done back in 2016. Most of the bodywork was excellent but the car required much mechanical work, which I was able to do myself over the next 2 years. Replacement new parts to the Ford spec. are readily available so I was able to bring the car up to showroom standard. I have bills for parts of around £10k, so nothing was spared to make this into what must be one of the finest Model A Tudor sedans around. The car runs well and is reliable. My early interest in Model 'A's was for trialling which I did in a friend's car. The Fords were very good on the road however and when I saw this car I decided to forget the trialling and make it into a top notch, usable vintage car for club use and general vintage motoring. With all the work completed, the car provides good reliable transport and is presented in excellent condition. From the outset it was a show winner. (e. g. Hebden Bridge, 2018 Best in Show, 400+ entries) and is still winning prizes in local shows. There is much more information available with pictures for those interested.
Great car for touring and holidays. The slow revving engine with masses of torque takes the car up most gradients in top gear, making for a relaxed driving experience.
I have other cars and interests, hence the Ford is available for someone else to enjoy.
