Description
1989 YAMAHA TZR250 3MA Reverse Cylinder in excellent condition, in full working order, ready to ride, with new MOT and only 6918 Miles (11135 Kms) on the clock. I bought this bike from a dealer in London, back in 2019. The power valves were leaky so I had the engine including crank fully rebuilt by St Neots Motorcycles. With only 1300 dry miles covered since, the engine is still fresh and is completely standard. I still have the original pistons which have very little wear, proving that the mileage is genuine. I have spent over £3000 getting the bike right mechanically and still have all the receipts for the work that's been done. There are a few age related marks on the bodywork mostly at the front of the bike, but it wouldn't take much get it looking mint. Mostly original except for Brake Lines, Fuel Cap, Screen, Carbon Reeds and Jackal Race exhaust. The Exhausts sound amazing and is the main reason I bought the bike. The air box is standard but the Main Jets have been upgraded to match the exhausts. These bikes are very rare and I have never seen another one on the road, even so, there are still plenty of spares available for this model. Starts, runs and handles really well. It's a real head turner getting lots of attention when ever I ride it. Selling due to needing more space in the garage. Imported from Japan by Motorcycle Giant in 2019 and registered with age related plate.
Covered only 1300 dry miles around The Isle Of Wight since engine rebuild, and run only on ethanol free fuel and synthetic 2stroke oil.
