Description

EDIT 2: Vehicle is as described below, further diagnosis of the brake light issue suggests the brake booster may be the culprit. Happy to elaborate further and viewings are welcomed. May consider swaps/ px with something interesting, classics preferred, but otherwise must be ULEZ compliant or interesting enough to warrant paying ULEZ. Open to considering offers from anyone coming to view the vehicle. If I cannot answer the phone, then please leave a message and I'll get in touch.

EDIT: Replacement vehicle acquired. Mileage is a little more than 107k and will no longer rise. A fault has developed causing the brake lights to stay on permanently, therefore it has been relisted with the price dropped to reflect this update and facilitate a quicker sale. Looking for £3k ono to clear some space. Viewings are welcome.

Sadly, the time has come to part ways with my Tanzanite blue W215 CL500 on 18" AMG IV wheels. It's ULEZ compliant and has MOT until July 2025, FSH with comprehensive records of maintenance and is HPI clear. Mileage has just passed 106k and will likely rise as it’s still in use. Walk around video available on request.

It has been an absolute pleasure to captain this land yacht and I have thoroughly cared for it in my ownership. The ABC suspension functions smoothly, with records of pump and line replacements prior to my ownership, and the engine is strong. I’ve done a lot to keep it healthy, with only a few tasteful mods to compliment the character of the vehicle.

As with any car, especially those over 20 years old, there are positives and negatives to consider, so I will list them briefly below. These are either things I've purchased and done in my time or issues I’d identified to address next.

Negatives:

- Blemishes on the paint dotted around the car. A few marks on the bumpers, paint bubbles around sunroof etc. All commensurate with the age of the vehicle, it’s not perfect but cleans up well. It would benefit from a thorough polish and a wheel refurbishment.

- Left wing mirror indicator throws an error intermittently, usually in heavy rain or hot weather, but it functions just fine. Aftermarket LED indicators supplied with sale.

- The soft closing doors are temperamental and there are some broken clips for the wood trim on the drivers seat control, which have been secured temporarily.

- General wear and tear to the interior, as expected for its age, but overall in decent condition.

- Front left wheel bearing has started making the occasional squeaking noise at sub 20mph speeds. No issue when driving at speed, but it will likely need attending to in the future.

The asking price is £3750. This will include a box of spare parts and a rare ViseeO MBU-3000 for bluetooth calls.

You'd be hard pressed to find another CL that you can use daily as I have. If you're in the market for one of these, then you know how hard it is to find one that you can jump in and drive.

I have been thorough and honest about the car, so offers will only be considered upon viewing because, let's be honest, you can't really make an offer until you know what you're buying. I'm more than happy to elaborate further and answer any questions for serious buyers, so please feel free to contact me. It's a statement piece. Not the kind of car you see everyday and definitely not in this spec. Ideal for someone who likes unique cars.
