A wonderful example of the Land Rover Defender 90, converted by renowned marque specialist Twisted Automotive, and wearing a handsome green over tan colour scheme.
It is powered by a remapped 2. 2-litre turbocharged diesel inline-four, now producing around 170bhp and driving all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission.
The Defender 90 has covered a relatively modest 62, 200 miles from new, and has been with its current and second owner since November 2020.
This Defender 90 XS is finished in the lesser-seen hue of Aintree Green with powder-coated steps, over a beautiful tan extended leather-trimmed cabin.
It rides on a set of Anthracite 18-inch Twisted five-spoke alloy wheels, shod with BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/ A tyres. The car comes with factory fitted xenon lights and a winter pack including heated seats for the two front Recaro seats (also factory fitted).
The car features numerous Twisted upgrades, including an improved suspension, headlights, indicators, and taillights, a leather-trimmed Twisted steering wheel, Twisted speed dials, an Alcantara headliner, brand new leather-trimmed front Recaro bucket seats, full leather trimming including on the door cards, a gloss black front KBX grille, KBX air inlets and a Twisted mudguard.
It is also equipped with the Twisted P6 Performance upgrade which remaps the engine to produce up to 170bhp and 310lb-ft of torque, and Twisted progressive suspension and exhaust
The vehicle also features factory-fitted air conditioning, heated front seats, electric front windows, heated front and rear screens, and a dashboard-mounted clock.
It is also fitted with an Alpine Apple CarPlay stereo with Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The vehicle will be accompanied by its original owner’s book pack, the stamped service booklet, and a selection of invoices and receipts documenting the car’s maintenance.

The car’s last MOT test was conducted on in Nov 2024 at 60, 000 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no warnings or advisories. Since the car had another oil and filter change and ongoing maintenance. This Defender modified by Twisted is a fantastic vehicle to go off-road, camping, on holidays or even as a daily driver. The increased performance is really helpful to drive the car at low revs whilst still having enough torque and floating with traffic even on motorways or A-roads. The Recaro seats are very comfortable and give great stability when driving country roads.
