SOLD - 2002 02 Volvo S60 2. 0T S 180 bhp with SE spec 4 door saloon 5 speed manual petrol in Metallic blue with Cream leather. Cambelt and water pump replaced at 95178.
The S60 is being sold on behalf of my friend who now lives in South Africa. He did look to export the car, but due to the costs involved in shipping being over £1. 5k, he has reluctantly asked me to sell it on. I have known the owner for 15 years and in turn this car over 10 years.
I have the V5C, MOT's, some service receipts, book pack including service book and owners manual, tax reminders, sorn notifications, 2 keys and 2 remotes.
The history confirms the Volvo was purchased new from Bells Motor Group Northampton by the first owner who kept the car for over 5 years, the second owner was based in Peterborough and kept the car for nearly 7 years, my friend then bought the car and used for trips from Buckinghamshire to their 2nd home in France and have owned it for 10 years. The service and MOT history back up the low mileage for age and is listed below. The car is UK registered.
I have driven the car locally with no issues in mixed traffic and up to motorway cruising speeds and it is now SORN'd pending sale.
As with many 23 year old cars there are some marks and dinks associated with age which can be clearly seen within the photos, no attempt has been made to 'touch in' any of the marks although they would improve the overall look if you wish to do so.
The only thing tested that doesn't work is the central locking - all doors will lock and unlock but only 3 on the remote and the drivers door has to be locked and unlocked with the key.
The most recent MOT in April 2025 was actioned following removal from storage and the car passed with a few advisories, most if not all of which are 'slight' or 'minor'. Whilst the tyres are legal they are starting to perish and would clearly benefit from replacement. Servicing etc will need to be budgeted for as usual. The aircon blows cold when tested. There is no evidence of any leaks of any kind. The car appears not to have been smoked in, there is no sign of any dog hair nor dubious smells.
Not a show car but a genuine honest example. At time of listing the car is also showing as ULEZ compliant on the TFL system. Known history :
