Fully restored truck, preserved patina of original paint!
New engine and semi racing gearbox fitted.
Body removed and chassis fully repaired and painted, body reinstalled, surface rust stabilised and sealed with mineral oil. To clean it, you just rub it over with linseed!
The straight six engine starts on the button and runs beautifully, having only covered about 700 miles from new.
The truck has only been used in the UK for promotional purposes for the current owner's business, I'm selling it on his behalf, he's my next door neighbour, you are welcome to meet him and chat about the truck, but he's in the middle of a house restoration and hasn't got the time to manage the sale, hence my involvement.
One owner car in the USA, that being the Killeen Police Department in Texas. This apparently was used to patrol some of the wilds of the Texan badlands!
Recent work includes a full service, fresh gearbox overhaul and new oil seals, all brakes rebalanced and a full check through after being standing for promotional use and not being driven much. This was sold to my neighbour by Chris from Gas Monkey Garage, he has the details for this to prove the provenance.
This car, importation and duties, then the full restoration have cost him in excess of £25, 000. It was a real passion project and there was no expense spared in making it how he wanted it.
