Rare Original service manual.
A huge amount of work has been undertaken in my ownership to bring the car up to a reliable useable standard. See the last 3 images for the list but including new front discs and pads, front shocks, rear suspension spheres, driveline refurb and rectifying all the common items that can give problems on these W123 cars, including vacuum system. Fitted with 4 new 195/ 70 x SR 14 Vredestein Quadrac 5 All Season tyres. Last MOT prior to Historic Status passed with no advisories.
The car benefits from an older restoration around 2011 and I have recently replaced the nearside wing and had the whole front end painted. The car presents very well inside and out. Garners a lot of attention, eminently showable although not a precious concours car that you cannot use, hence the asking price. These rare legendary Mercedes S123 estate cars are beginning to sell for very strong money £40 to £50K.
Whether you’re a collector, enthusiast, or just after a supremely usable classic estate, this car delivers with style and substance. This represents an opportunity to buy a hugely practical, classic car with Historic Status so MOT and ULEZ exempt with zero cost road tax. You can insure the car for around £100 per year so has to be one of the most cost effective forms of motoring. Likely to appreciate in value so what’s not to like.
Car is currently on a cherished registration but will be returned to the original registration that was allocated when new A825 MVG.
Lots of spares available subject to discussion / negotiation.
Seldom seen in this condition, at this at this price level!
Priced to sell as I need the Space.
