Kawasaki H2b 750 Triple May/ 1974 Candy Lime restored
the bike was purchased as a project, in the main complete but in need of a total restoration.
i have listed below the main points/ details of the works carried out.
-rebuild works/ details-
frame-
bead blasted, frame jig check and re alignment to spec.
common rust areas such as lower pockets/ lower tubes repaired/ re boxed.
chassis re bead/ re powder coat.
forks-total strip/ rebuild timken taper roller head race bearings.
swing arm jig check bead/ powder. bronze swing arm top hats/ fittings.
wheels-
re spoke/ rebuilt using the original Takasago rims
Avon tyres/ new fittings as needed.
Paint works-
tank/ side panels/ rear cowl restored / repainted/ fittings as needed.
seat-
new old stock seat complete sourced from the USA
complete with h2 under seat handbook and tool kit.
bike build -
with the above works completed/ rebuilt parts the bike was then taken to Simon at Kawa Triple parts.
the bike was then built/ completed with many new parts/ fittings.
supplied with restored/ re chromed parts where possible, and a vast amount
of new parts fitted as needed.
engine/ gearbox-
total strip-re built crank/ rods, Wiseco Pistons/ re bore/ rings all fittings rebuilt or replaced as needed
carb rebuild with genuine Mikuni parts. full Higg speed pipe set.
rebuilt ign system inc stator plates/ rebuild ign boxes/ all fittings
new loom/ all switches/ locks-1 key for all. all cables/ fittings.
re build clocks.
clutch plates/ springs/ fittings/ basket refurbish and as you can imagine and from the photos
any final parts as needed to complete. rebuilt or renewed brakes/ bearings/ all parts.
bike completed-
the bike was then completed, collected running Mot/ road tested. UK reg completed
and ready for final set up works.
final set up works-
after carrying out the final jobs the bike then went to James at Krazy-kat racing for a dyno/ rolling road set up
to suit the pipes and filters, James did a fantastic job and collected the bike ready to go.
once completed-
this was all completed around 3-4 years ago, the bike was then used on sunny days,
around 150 miles and then into the collection.
2025-
decision made to sell the bike and has just had the following
works completed/ new parts-
front caliper rebuild/ stainless steel piston rebuild/ new pads
master cly/ flex's/ nickel copper line all fittings
carb rebuild/ gaskets/ oil pump gaskets/ dowty seals/ fittings/ feed lines
side case gaskets/ yamabond/ gaskets other
fuel tank inside treatment/ clean new fuel tap/ fuel pipes/ fittings/ fuel cap/ all breather hoses
moto bat and optimate charge plug fitted
various fittings/ plugs/ all oils changed
exhaust system full clean/ re seal inc end cans
Ralf Gille clutch release fitted/ new front sprocket nut/ washer/ fittings
full detail/ clean-check over.

no centre stand fitted to clear pipes

price/ summary/ sale--

the bike is ready to enjoy.
price wise as we all know they range at a certain point- from 10- to 20 plus/ more for a totally correct original bike
that is fully restored property, and as we all know it still costs more than that to build it and the time.
