Description
Turn heads wherever you go with this gorgeous convertible MG TD. In original cream with beige soft top and matching beige upholstery it includes upgrade features including spoke wheels and walnut dashboard. In excellent condition throughout it drives like a dream.
• The TD-Series Midget was the first MG sports car to feature independent double-wishbone front suspension, rack and pinion steering and twin leading-shoe front brakes
• Powered by the proven 1, 250cc XPAG engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, it was reputedly capable of 82mph and 26mpg
• Frist registered in 1952, this example was originally supplied, as most were, to the US in left-hand drive, returning in 2016
• With just one previous UK owner, it's believed to have been previously restored prior to arriving in the UK
• Finished in Old English White with, good chrome and a cream hood over a tan leather interior sitting on chrome wire wheels (presumably from a later TF as TDs were never available with splined hubs)
• Classic T-Series interior with white-faced Jaeger instruments, Bakelite switches and a wood-rim wheel.
• Various US enhancements with a badge-bar, extra mirrors and spare wheel 'cosy'
• This is a lovely example of the early TD Midget, attractively guided and we believe is not to be missed• Frist registered in 1952, this example was originally supplied, as most were, to the US in left-hand drive, returning in 2016
