The Dutch owner only kept it for a few months because of a real estate project and sold it to another French jeep enthusiast who kept it for about two years and sold it to me for the same reasons. I had the mechanics made reliable and replaced a lot of parts with new ones in order to be able to use it on a daily basis. The main interest being its v8 engine and its th 400 gearbox which are renowned for their extreme reliability.
The patina of the bodywork is particularly homogeneous The special Lévis series with its new Nos interior in jeans The comfort of a Cadillac Car that does not go unnoticed people photograph it and ask questions every time they go out.
I hesitate to have the headliner redone as it has a few small bumps and the top of the dashboard has a small crack in the centre, but the previous owner was so proud that these parts were in their original condition that I chose to keep them as they were so that the car would keep a bit of its soul and its used look. The restoration is almost complete and my 12 year old son prefers muscle cars, so I'm parting with it for another automotive project, as my garage is unfortunately not expandable.
