Description
1972 A65T 'Thunderbolt' OIF which is very original, the paint colour is one of which BSA experimented with but was never listed as such although shown in their export brochure.
Repatriated from the United States where it is believed to have been in the ownership of one family (Father and Son) for its whole life across the pond.
Subsequently, this BSA was owned by the BSA Owners Club who raffled it off for charity a few years ago.
Matching numbers with a dating certificate from the BSAOC.
Recent overhaul of the front forks, front and rear brakes, renewed all wheel bearings, fitted new steering head bearings, new clutch, front tyre, chain and LED head and tail lamp. The carb has a new slide, jets and float. The front brake has extended levers and works well.
There are a couple of small chips to the paint, a small weld repair to the front mudguard stay and the rev counter glass is cracked.
The bike starts easily and rides nicely pulling strongly up through the gears.
V5 in my name. Genuine reason for sale
