Description
Recent full restoration. Everything dealt with including new swing arm shaft and bearings, wheel bearings, brakes, new fork stanchions and all bushes. Timken taper roller steering head bearings. Original Dunlop alloy rims rebuilt with new stainless spokes, new Avon Roadrider tyres. Engine rebuilt with new mains, big end, rebore, piston valves, guides, new correct Thruxton cam followers. Refurbished Lucas manual magneto. Refurbished GP carb with new Amal float chamber. Refurbished gearbox with all new bearings. Clutch overhauled, new chains. All new wiring with new Lucas battery and solid state regulator. Original deep shell headlamp. Original steel/ fibreglass seat base fitted with new squab and recovered. All alloy parts vapour blasted or polished as required. Many stainless fixings where originals were not up to par.
All parts powder coated except tank and fork sliders (2k acrylic) . All blue parts 2K acrylic over powder coating. Lots of photos of rebuild.
