Hi D Ho Everyone
This is just a very very short list of what has been done on this fine 60's VELOCETTE 500 in the last five years from previous ownership.

YOU PROBABLY WILL NOT EVER SEE ANOTHER VELO AS NICE AS THIS.
Borrani wheel rims
Stainless spokes
New tyres & tubes
Wheel Bearings replaced
Twin leading F/ Brake fully rebuilt
Forks fitted with two way dampening
New fork seals
New steering head tapered bearings
New Steering Damper.
Speedo recon unit + new Amp .
New Barrel & Piston from Grove Classics
New Valves & Springs
Extra Engine Plate fitted for Stiffening , Bolt up primary Chain Case , all new Clutch & Chain.
Converted to 12 Volt Electrics with upgraded Alternator, I believe about
20 were made so not many of these are still about, all new parts fitted.
Gearbox is listed as Close Ratio, we have been told the stamping starts
with a 12 and C/ R would Start with a 14, however it is just the innards that have been changed using the 12 case, last owner did a count of the cogs and came up with C/ R cogs.
New Clubman Petrol Tank & Seat , New Gard's, Light Fittings, Levers,
All Cables & Wire.
Powder Coated , Painted , Chrome, all New.
Only ever run up in the garage, bike is as new.
Using grade 50 oil at this time .
It sounds so nice I think I will buy it !!! myself ( ONLY KIDDING ) I have to stay in business.
