1951 Armstrong Siddeley Whitley for sale. 2. 3l, straight six engine with pre-selector gearbox and centrifugal clutch. Owned by me for the last 20 years and well known within the Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club.
Restored over many years including engine and gearbox rebuild, carburettor professionally restored, new carpets and headlining and bare metal respray. Replacement petrol tank. New battery. Recent new brake master cylinder and front brake cylinders to improve stopping.
Fitted with sensible extras such as indicators running together with the original trafficators and an electronic fuel pump, used to prime the system. Regularly driven and serviced.
Comes with most of the parts to build another engine, plus suspension parts, etc. And a 20 year history file, plus workshop manuals.
