Up for sale is this rather lovely 1998 BMW 728i E38.
Firstly the paintwork - it is a great 20 footer with the shining Calypso Red metallic paint, but there are a few areas of lacquer peel (passenger front door worst bit) and a few blisters on the rear arches. So not perfect by any means. Trim is mostly all good with a couple of bumper corner scuffs (those bits are easily replaced if you really wanted) but otherwise looks great.
Interior - grey leather, minor wear on it but not ripped anywhere, not sagging - for a 27 year old interior it is pretty good! Nothing damaged, everything works, electric mirrors, windows, central locking, dash.. all good.
Engine - the famous M52B28 (2. 8L straight six) with a 5 speed automatic. Absolutely great, quietly delivers very smooth power, doing mid-20s on the daily drive and mid-30s on a long run.
Big boot, good lights, (rears are not faded), 2 keys, M Parallel 18" wheels and good tyres.
