For Sale: Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Sportwagon – Rare, Well-Maintained, Enthusiast-Owned
Offered for sale is my cherished 2003 Alfa Romeo 156 GTA Sportwagon, which I’ve owned since 2006, having purchased it directly from the dealer. Over the past 17 years, it has been maintained to a high mechanical standard with extensive service history and careful stewardship.
Condition & Known Issues: The car received a full professional respray in 2017, specifically to address rust in the front wings (a common 156 issue). Sadly, the repair hasn’t held up long-term, and rust has since reappeared in all four arches and beneath the rear screen. Replacement wings are no longer available off-the-shelf, so it will require attention from someone with coachbuilding or restoration experience.

The asking price reflects the cosmetic work required. Mechanically, it remains strong, reliable, and thrilling to drive – a car with outstanding potential for the right enthusiast.
