The vehicle originated from Hong Kong, the first owner exported it to the UK in November 1981 and placed the vehicle in storage. The original owner used the Datsun as a holday runabout, while on annual leave. When he retired in 1990, the vehicle was used regulary. In 1990, the Datsun registered 6000 miles. In 1996, the first owner Part Exchanged the Datsun for a Saab 9000. It was then purchased by an employee of the dealership, with only 16500 miles on and 1 previous owner, he just had to buy the Datsun 280ZX.
My brother purchased the Datsun in July 1999, from the second owner. He always garaged the vehicle and never drove it in the Winter. In March 1999, the MOT certificate registered a mileage of 34145 Miles. This vehicle was cherished by my late brother, he always had it serviced and maintained by a local garage, near to where he stored the vehicle. The Datsun 280ZX is a rare vehicle to find, especially with just 60577 miles on the clock. The red velour interior is in very good condition, the back seats are like new. This vehicle is in very good condition, it does need some minor attention, with bodywork repairs due to some small corrosion issues. The Datsun is 46 years old and must be one of the best examples around. My brother often took it to Classic Car Shows, it always received alot of attention from Datsun admirers.
