Description
A two owner car with a full and hugely detailed service and maintenance history from new. It was the fabled little old lady who bought it new and ran it until her passing, after which it sat in a heated garage until I bought it from her neice. I have owned the car for over 8 years now, and am only selling it because I am no longer using it much, as I now have a W123 Mercedes as my everyday car. The car is in overall very good condition, with only a few blemishes comensurate with its age and mileage, but there is a crack in the rear bumper as a result of a parking issue with a bollard! The car drives beautifully and uses no oil at all between services. I have priced the car below what I think it is worth (and Car & Classics' valuation) to reflect where it is located - near Inverness - as I am aware many people interested might have to travel should they wish to view it. Please note that the registration number is not included in the sale - I have shown it to allow people to check the MoT history of the car. This to me is the ideal model in this 124 range, as the M111 engine gives good power but is quite light, giving good weight distribution and thus handling, and the estate body is hugely versatile. During my ownership I have covered 75, 000 miles, and it has returned 30 mpg over that period. I know this as I have a record of every litre of petrol I have ever bought for it.
