UK Bike, 1st reg 27/ 03/ 1980. 8 former keepers.
Starts, runs and rides well.
17793 miles (may go up as it is used regularly).
Historic registration, £0 Tax, with MOT exemption.
Nice original state with some age related marks and patina but in sound condition overall.
V5 in my name at my address, matching numbers on bike.
Full service completed on 07/ 02/ 2025 @ 17558 miles. Including carburettor removal, dismantlement and ultrasonic clean. Reassembly including all new rubber seals, air shut off diaphragms and inlet manifold to cylinder head "O" rings. Carburetors balanced and tuned to manufacturers specifications.
Informed by previous owner that he had renewed the front brake pads, seat cover and battery which appears to be so. He said the previous owner to him had renewed the water pump and seal and evidence of new casing sealant would support this. Purchased on 05/ 09/ 2023 @ 17149 miles from a private sellers collection, this was the bike I wanted when I passed my bike test as a teenager but couldn't afford the insurance.
54 years later I fulfilled that dream and have enjoyed my ownership of the CX with the smooth torquey twin, low maintenance shaft drive and Japanese reliability.
I am now selling the bike to get make way for the other dream choice of my youth, the CB400/ 4.
This bike needs nothing doing, it is ready to ride away and enjoy the summer.
