Description
Rare (only about 650 short wheelbase vehicles were built) original Land Rover Defender 2. 8i with the BMW 6 cylinder in-line engine from South Africa which was imported to the UK a few years ago and registered there. It had MOT until 2020 and then it was sold to Germany/ Austria and never registered there - so re-importing to the UK should not be a problem, especially as all UK documents are still available.
Condition is very good, no rust, all original. Vehicle transport to the UK would be possible from the seller's side. The car has had two previous owners and drives like a dream. The engine sound and certification are breathtaking, even compared to a V8 Defender. Unfortunately, it is too impractical as a right-hand drive vehicle in Austria and is therefore being sold - preferably to an enthusiast who appreciates this special and rare model.
