Description
This genuine 1969 MGB Roadster in classic red, is presented in fine order following restoration since being acquired by the current owner in 2014.
It retains many original features, including iconic wire-spoke wheels and chrome bumpers.
Restoration has included a new red soft-top, refurbished seats with red piping, restored red livery, and refurbished engine. The bodywork is in good condition with panel gaps and shuts as they should be. The paintwork is also very good with only a few minor blemishes. Other improvements have included refurbed brakes with new pipes, new headlights, a head conversion to run on unleaded petrol, and a new radiator.
The car runs well and has overdrive.
As an Historic vehicle, the car does not require to be taxed or MOT'd. Its last MOT was in 2016 at 44975 miles following the bulk of the restoration work. There were no advisories. The car has been dry garaged since 2014.
There are several spare parts which are also in the sale, including a new petrol tank (the existing tank was found to be sound), a distributor, and a steering wheel.
This car is a low mileage and sorted example of a British classic. It is being sold only because the owner can no longer give it the attention it deserves. Because of changed family circumstances the price has recently been reduced.
