Here's another Ducati Multistrada 1000DS that I've refurbed, set-up and is now ready to go...
So with the work - it's fully serviced, totally cleaned/ refurbed through out.
The Motor - fully repainted, all clearances set, new belts, cams dialed in, new valve stem oil seals. Many new stainless steel fasteners.
The wiring Loom - has been tidied with new terminals for the reg/ rec and battery connections.
The Throttle Bodies - cleaned, injectors tested and matched pair fitted chosen.
The Frame - BRAND NEW REAR SHOCK, new needle roller bearing set for the swing arm, new alloy anodized handle bars, new fork seals & fork oil all fully cleaned out, new taper roller head bearings, rear hub cleaned & bearings greased and frame all cleaned.
Others - As new Pirelli tyres, new drive sprocket, chain & rear sprocket are very good, all brake pads good, calipers cleaned and bled with new fluid.
Look - Wheels painted in a bright silver. The fasters I haven't swapped out are all very bright.
Many new parts from Ducati at Shipley. All the usual service work done from clearances, new belts, tensioner bearings checked, Shell Advance 10w40 & filter, throttles balanced, Injectors cleaned/ tested, fuel pick-up filter checked and finally the fueling map custom adjusted from reading AFR on each cylinder individually so the bike starts and runs very well especially low down. There'll be other work I've done but leave it at that....
This bike is not a "cast-off" or "done with it" I focus on these and this is the last Multi for awhile, it's what I like to do. Been running one of these myself for years touring Europe.
All road test done and now happy with the way it runs, has 12 mths MOT.
Comes with Paddock Stand, full workshop manual on USB stick.
