Description
The Heinkel Kabine bubble car was first made in Germany, after the war, by the former aircraft manufacturer.
Later the Heinkel-I was built under licence in Dundalk Ireland.
Finally a licence was granted to the Trojan company and they made the cars in Croydon UK and called them the Trojan 200.
This is a 1963 Trojan 200.
Recently recommissioned and serviced after time in storage.
It comes with its original and valuable number plate 3274VR.
These cars were made in both Right and Left hand drive, this is Left hand drive.
(LHD is the better option, because the front doors were always hinged on the left. When the steering wheel is moved to the right, it makes getting in and out more difficult.
Being LHD is not a problem for the driver when positioning such a small car on the road!)
It is fitted with the correct single cylinder, 4 stroke, 200cc Heinkel engine.
The gearbox has 4 forward speeds & reverse.
There is a simple fold back Sunroof.
A period looking rear view mirror has been added to the interior and there is an exterior mirror on the right hand side.
The car has plenty of patina!
It starts and drives nicely.

The car comes with lots of old documentation, including interesting old owners docs, like the original Surrey County Council registration log book.
There are numerous bills detailing a comprehensive restoration in 1999.
