Engine:
• Twin Carb engine added in 2014
• Engine rebuilt in 2014 – low mileage since then (under 10k by previous owner, less than 200 miles by me in the last year).
• New fuel lines in 2023 and a full mechanical check in 2024 – a few issues highlighted but nothing unusual for the year.
• Engine runs smooth once warmed up • Tax and MOT exempt due to its age.
Interior:
• Two recently restored original VW seats (driver and passenger).
• Rear interior has been stripped during an earlier refurb – currently fitted with a full-size double mattress on custom wooden supports.
• Offers a blank canvas for your ideal camper conversion or minimal setup. • Needs some TLC – window seals and handles could use replacing.
• Comes with a basic, solid interior structure ready for renovation or customisation.
• Interior is very basic and stripped, but the upside is complete freedom for custom work.
Bodywork & Exterior:
• Bright red paintwork, various panels are at different stages of respray (visible in photos).
• Some rust in the usual spots – front bumper, doors, and door steps (the latter needing some welding).
• Some panels have already been treated and welded.
• Overall, the body is solid and structurally good.
