Sadly I am very, very reluctantly having to sell my much loved “Ronda” the Honda.
Being disabled I have finally had to accept that I need a higher, estate car.
“Ronda” is a V Reg, 1999 Honda Civic, 1. 4iS Automatic. The car is totally standard except for an upgraded Radio Head unit with Bluetooth Handsfree.
I have maintained the car very well, regardless of cost, and she has always been garaged. She shows no signs of rust or corrosion and really does shine well, I regularly have people stopping me to comment on the condition of the car.
She has approximately 54’350 miles on the clock, although this will change slightly as she is still in use. She has a full service history, last being serviced in May of this year.
She is booked in for an MOT on 26. 06. 25 so will come with a full MOT (The current MOT expires next month so will have 13 Months MOT).
The only negative, which was due to be repaired this summer, is that the headlining has started to sag (very common on these). The material is in good condition so i intended to have it removed and re glued, It was absolutely fine until a holiday in Cornwall last year when I parked the car in direct sun for several days and the glue just gave up!
The car really is a lovely vehicle and a great example of a modern classic. Although 26 years old she drives absolutely wonderfully and still has the positive of some “mod cons” such as Air Conditioning, electric front windows and Central Locking.
She also has a tow bar with single point electrics which I’ve used for my little box trailer (tip runs etc).
I really would not even be considering changing the car if it wasn’t for my mobility problems and the fact that my two main passengers are also disabled.
I think a fair price for the car is £1995 but serious offers will be carefully considered.
