Welcome to the listing for my cherished Boxster 986. It has an advisory-free MoT until 24th March next year and is currently on around 113K miles. I have owned her since 2018 following a long search for a good one. She was eventually purchased from a Porsche enthusiast who only sold as they had bought a 996 and couldn’t keep both.
The time has come to sell as she just isn’t being used anymore with less than one thousand miles between the last two MoT’s.
The bodywork is straight and clean and the metallic blue colour really pings in the sunlight. The wheels are straight and in great condition with good tyres all round.
Mechanically she is in tip top condition with any issue investigated and dealt with. The roof works, the window drop function is fine and all electrics work correctly apart from the cd multi changer which sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t - the single cd player in the car works fine.
The car is only ever taken out on days when the roof can be lowered so I have never used the air conditioning. I have just tried it today and it isn’t working.
The engine starts first time and pulls well with no smoke or untoward noises other than a fantastic rasp from the exhaust! The clutch is light and precise and the gearbox is smooth and quiet.
Servicing has been carried out annually at the same time as the MoT (despite the low mileages involved) and I have specified only Mobil 1 oil to be used. A spare litre will come with the car. I bought this car off an enthusiast and have continued to look after her, ensuring she is well serviced, is kept in a dry garage and is only brought out on sunny days.
This is a fun car which I have enjoyed driving for the past seven years and would hope she goes to someone who will continue to look after and enjoy her. The private plate will be removed prior to sale.
