Description
VW Golf R32 Manual 2006
3 door, in desirable deep blue pearl with leather interior
4 recent Michelin Pilot Sport tyres on the original 18” Zolder alloys
MOT until May 2026
High spec car – cruise control, highline dash, heated mirrors, heated seats, arm rest
Air Con works perfectly
Always ran on Super Unleaded fuel
Very comprehensive service history, original handbook included
Both keys (one of the keys is painted in blue to match the car!)
I replaced the interior door handles and window switches with brand new, genuine VW parts as it was suffering the usual soft touch wear looking untidy. The new parts made the interior feel great again and were expensive to replace (but worth it!)
Very presentable car with no dents. There are some stone chips to the front bumper and bonnet as to be expected of a car of this age, but the colour pops and stands out as a very clean, straight car. A few very minor marks here but nothing to detract overly.
The drivers seat bolster shows some wear but in good condition for mileage - I've popped a photo in to show this. Otherwise interior is all in good condition.
I’ve serviced every year owning this and mostly used genuine VW parts and Castrol oil and works out around every 5000miles (within my ownership) (last oil service was less than 4k ago)
Chains were checked a couple of years back and were spot on
Mods:
I like to keep things original and all mods I've done are reversible.
Milltek ‘non-res’ exhaust (but I have a centre section with resonator if required) Engine sounds incredible!!
Original exhaust can be included too- I’ve had it in my garage with covers on the ends so will be in same condition as per when it was removed.
Apple carplay stereo with a VW logo reversing camera (original but dated SAT NAV unit will come with car as well as original cd changer that was in the arm rest and the original rear badge/ boot handle)
Both rear calipers recently replaced (common issue with all Golf's is them seizing!)
All brakes recently changed (pads and discs)
Front wings replaced by previous owner (and the NVH insulators removed to avoid future rust!)
Wind deflectors fitted but can be easily removed
Rear wiper delete
New rear dampers and wheel bearing for recent MOT
The downsides
Headlining starting to sag – common issue and easy fix.
Door locks – common issue with VW’s of this era, Drivers door is temperamental to unlock but will always lock. New door locks are easy to obtain, I just haven’t had time to do it! If I get the chance to shortly, I will do them before the sale.
A small bubbling on the sills by the bottom of the front wings showing and a small bubble on the rear right arch.
This will be a VERY REGRETFUL SALE, only selling as I have bought my dream car and can’t afford to keep both… if I could keep both, I most definitely would!
I have had this car around 4 years now, I love it and have done around around 20k trouble free miles. This was going to be my forever car, but the opportunity to own my dream car means I have to make space for it… buy this Golf quickly before I change my mind! This has been the best car I've owned followed closely by my old Corrado VR6.
I have had a personalised registration (which is now removed) but otherwise HPI clear (I have a pdf car check from July 2025 which I can share)
The car is back on it's original registration of YE06ELV if you want to check the MOT history.
Please contact me if you would like further photos or videos. Happy to arrange a video call around the car too.
All inspection welcome, I live in Northampton.
Car is currently SORN and proof of insurance required to test drive. Service history
