This Vespa Sportique 1964 has been professionally restored with its originality being retained. Original colour retained. Matching engine and frame numbers. A genuine Bristol Douglas produced UK from new Sportique. Comes with the original 1964 UK buff log book, user manual, 60’s insurance documents and authentication paperwork from The Vintage Motor Scooter Club UK. Has lived most of its life in Redruth, Cornwall. Only 1 former keeper. A rare beast.
Completely original standard, rugged and reliable 150cc engine. Easy to register as a 125cc (if riding on a CBT licence) when you fill in the new keeper details on the V5.
I have fitted a Polini box exhaust for extra pep, whilst retaining classic sound and looks. Up-jetted accordingly. 12v Electronic ignition fitted. I also have an original Denfeld style seat I can provide with scooter, as pictured.
Scooter starts and rides perfectly. No issues. Reliable. Only just run in. Rides as beautifully as it looks.
I bought the scooter from Rome Antique Lambretta’s and recommissioned it (blasted out tank, new petrol tap etc) as it had been stood in a collection unused for many years after total restoration, mechanically and cosmetically. Has been a garage queen.
