Here is my low mileage in very good condition zetec s. The car is in lovely condition. If you know these cars most suffer from chronic rust problems, this has had the rusty sills sorted which allowed it to sail through its MOT in January. I’ve only covered a couple of hundred miles in it since. It has had loads of recent preventative mechanical work completed making it ready for the road. The work completed includes new cambelt and tensioner, brand new genuine water pump, new thermostat, cylinder head temp sensor, new valve cover gasket, new spark plugs, oil and filter, new coolant. New brake fluid, braided brake hoses front and rear, rear axle has been removed and poly bushed then fixed back into place with new genuine bolts. The rear sills have had the rotten metal removed, plated, welded, primed sealed and stone chipped in the arches. The underside has been protected with Lanoguard. New brake line to the o/ s/ f new front and rear ford badges, new drivers door check strap, the interior has been removed and the floor pans checked, new wipers and finally some new wheel nuts. The car will also come with 2 lower arms which are poly bushed and 2 new spare track rod ends. The car drives lovely and has that original ford 90’s smell inside, if you know you know! It has a pretty good service history with loads of stamps up to 2015. It has not covered much mileage between then and now, I was told it was garaged for a few years before and during the Covid period. MOT history backs up the low miles. The car is by no means perfect but they minor issues which an enthusiast or someone like myself wanting to re live a bit of youth will be more than capable or sorting. The radio is not the original silver fascia design, a couple of small rust bubbles on the rear arches the drivers door card has had a poor repair in the past and the clutch release bearing is a little noisy when cold but once warmed up not noticeable. Everything works inside including the air con, heated windscreen and electric windows and mirrors! Only reason for selling is to release some funds to get a better daily driver, will be sad to see it go! Many hours enjoyed working on it!
