Very low mileage TD5 defender in lovely condition in Cairns Blue with Masei panoramic glass. Last of the TD5s built. Starts on the key every time and never let me down. Has been stored inside by myself and the previous owner since 2019 and hasn’t seen much winter use or rain in that time. Bulkhead is perfect with no rust and the chassis is the same. It has been treated regularly and I have stripped it back to inspect and there is no corrosion to report. It was then treated again so is nicely protected. Wheels and tyres only a few years old. Chequered plate recently fitted to protect cills.
I have replaced all of the suspension, shocks and springs including new galvanised shock turrets and spring pads. New steering damper and guard, front swivels just fully rebuilt using genuine parts and timken wheel bearings. New bolts used throughout, stainless where possible. New front brake pads. New injector loom harness fitted as a precaution to prevent oil ingress, none was present in the old loom. Service history and a recent full service carried out by myself and is running perfectly.
The front seats have been covered with Lucari seat covers, apple car play has been fitted with upgraded speakers. Upgraded slick shift to improve the gearshift and shorten the throw.
