Arrived from California in August 2022, lifelong rust-free desert car and has been subject to a full professional rebuild in 2011 costing over $80, 000.
This Firebird is powered by a 6. 6 V8 modified original for the strip and with awesome looks.
Engine is a pro-built bored and stroked YT code Pontiac 400ci V8 with Eagle crank and connection rods, 10. 5 Hi-comp pistons, Hi-lift gear-driven cam, big valve cast iron cylinder heads. Weiland Hi-Rise aluminium intake with a double Demon pumper carb. Hooker headers connected to a UK made Power Flow stainless steel exhaust. Electric baffles installed for the ultimate sound straight from the headers.
Power is delivered through a TH400 automatic with quick shift kit and 10-bolt limited slip differential at the rear.
The motor is high revving, super-fit and oil leak free engine. The build is professional and balanced to create a fantastic driving powerful car with very good manners. 3000 miles completed on rebuild and drive and sounds absolutely sensational.
On the interior we have a fully amplified sound system and original seats in black.
On the exterior we have a high quality professional custom paint job in PPG Buccaneer Red with classic 17 inch Honeycomb alloys with Goodyear Low Profile tyres. WS6 Lowered suspension with bigger torsion bars and gas shocks.
New steering pump and alternator just installed
Condition is in mint for the car with no expense spared on the rebuildI brought the car from a Classic Car dealer in Yorkshire Dales and fell in love this classic muscle car. The car was still on original Arizona number plate so I am the first UK owner. I found some history on a you tube video posted about 13 years ago just after its rebuild. Since owing this car I have only done less than 1 thousdand miles and have maintainet it regardless of cost.
