This is a very late example of a 1971 Land Rover Series 2A presented in lovely honest condition with some beautiful original patina on offer.
A staggeringly low 3, 500k miles
indicated which although backed up by a reassuringly large amount of paperwork cannot be guaranteed.
This particular example features the sought after and particularly rare 2. 3 litre petrol 4 cylinder engine, overdrive, high and low ratio box, selectable 4 wheel drive, leaf springs and tow bar.
This Series 2A has been subject to a few recent repairs including:
Full service including plugs/ filters/ oil
Brake and clutch fluid change
Front and rear brake clean
New fuel tank fitted
Rear brake hoses replaced
New coolant hoses fitted
New clutch master and slave cylinders
New springs all round
Presented in Marine Blue with a contrasting Cream hard top, the bodywork is in honest, unrestored condition and features that quintessential Land Rover patina.
The original steel wheels also remain in unrestored and original condition.
The seats look to be very original and feature only minimal signs of wear. The remainder of the interior also presents in relatively good order with just your usual cosmetic imperfections.
MOT and TAX exempt.
