Reluctantly, I have decided to put my Grinnall Scorpion up for sale.
The engine is a BMW K1 K100RS 16V, with a 5-speed sequential manual transmission. It also has a working electric reverse fitted.
31, 000 miles on the clock. The MOT was passed 2 months ago. As before, no advisories.
History documentation is available. I am the third owner.
Recently, I systematically replaced everything fuel/ electric I could think of to cure a loss of acceleration.
The replacements included: a new battery, ignition coils, ignition amplifier, throttle position switch, starter motor, alternator, and cleaned injectors.
Happily, when a new fuel pump was fitted, the wonderful Grinnall power was restored. Last year, it was barely used, and, having lost my garage, I do not want it to sit outside this winter. Therefore, I have priced it to sell at 5, 600 ono to any other Grinnall Scorpion devotee. Based in the Bath area. PLEASE message any serious enquiries. No calls.
