1998 Ford Escort Finesse 1. 6 16v 3 Door Hatchback in Panther Black. 109696 miles on the clock and just been Mot'd and valid till 17th July 2026. Excellent condition inside and out and she drives really well. Owned by myself for the past 2 years in which time I've driven approximately 3000 miles without issue and she gets lots of nice comments whenever used. I bought her off a friend who in turn had bought her off a friend of the family who had undertaken some restoration work which I have photographic evidence of. I didn't use her at all last year and she was kept under cover in my Garage only because I was using my other Classic. For this reason I have reluctantly decided to sell her so someone else can have some enjoyment with her. The Cam Belt was replaced about 3 years ago and there is service history and repair invoices together with old Mot certificates to back up her history over the years but not comprehensive. The Escort has the GTI body kit fitted all in matching paintwork and is free of any damage. Also fitted are a set of RS alloy wheels including the matching spare wheel all in excellent condition, together with the centre caps and key which really set the car off well with the glorious Panther Black paintwork which has a deep shine. The interior has undergone similar transformation having had a RS interior fitted including the Recaro front seats and black headlining. Mechanically the 1. 6 Zetec engine is completely standard with no performance modifications. All in all she is a lovely car which although not concours is still in excellent condition and way better than average and looks fantastic. These Escorts offer great value for money and is one of the cheapest ways to get into classic Ford motoring. Prices on them are slowly starting to rise with the 3 Door being the most desirable and I have no doubt whoever buys her will absolutely love her and should make a good investment.
