Panther Kallista 2. 8 L V6 ford cologne 67, 812 miles MOT May 26 fully serviced less than 100 miles ago colour is cream and gold with black mohair hood this vehicle is classed as A1 and has an insurance value of £16, 500. I have owned this for 28 years there has only been 2 owners from new I purchased this from a market gardener in Chorleywood Hertfordshire there is lots of history with the vehicle. When purchased the mileage was just over 32, 000 in the first 9 years I have added 35, 00 to this in the 28 years I have owned the car in less than 2 years it will be tax exempt. The vehicle is in very good condition and has undergone complete wings off respray all corrosion has been removed and treated. Beading between wings and body replaced, all crome work replaced, new carpets, new leather seat covers cream with black piping. It has a glove compartment and boot compartment (not usual) with panthers. The alloys have been refurbished and there is a spare set. The door panels have been covered in black leather with Panther stitched into the fabric and all veneer has been refurbished. The engine bay is clean and tidy and the vehicle has only ever been out in the rain twice since my purchase. The radio cassette is original and still works unfortunately the arial is not connected and my body is not flexible enough to fix it. Cons choke is not working but have never needed to fix it, occasionally the bonnet does not close properly and requires slight adjustments. Reason for sale I am in my late 70s and have developed arthritis in my hands and wrists struggling to cope with no power steering. I have indicated that the vehicle has half major work done this is not the case there was Somme minor welding needed then the whole underside was waxoiled. When I first viewed the panther I loved the colour combination and it looked stunning with the roof down. The test drive was awesome responsive steering very quick over the ground felt comfortable considering the low body profile. (Except when you hit a bump). Spare parts are easy to acquire as the running gear is all ford (cortina capri etc) all panthers were factory built by Panther of west winds making each Panther individual. It has always been a great head turner and I will be very sad to see it go.
