If you’re looking for a really good example of one of Renault’s best hot hatches, then this may well be the car for you.
My 2005 Renault Clio RenaultSport 2. 0 182 is a factory Cup Pack version with the Cup suspension. The car is absolutely immaculate in every way and has wanted for nothing. It has spent most of its life in the hands of two lady owners and it’s been with me [a mature driver] for the last 5 years. Unlike many Clio RS, this has never been driven hard. With just 81, 900 miles from new, it feels fresh and drives really well.
The car is very much a hobby for me. It gets driven for just a few hundred miles a year and gives me great pleasure every time I get into it. I also enjoy working on it and have done a huge amount to it over the last 5 years. The full list is further down but briefly in the last 2, 000 miles it’s had the belts/ dephaser system done, new clutch, new suspension, new shocks, new pas pump, new injectors, new exhaust, new brake lines, new tyres, refurbished wheels etc… Virtually every part fitted is Genuine Renault.
The car is equipped with Eibach Sportline suspension and a Milltek cat-back stainless steel exhaust system. It sits 2cm lower and sounds really nice.
The bodywork is in outstanding condition with no rust. The paintwork is pristine with no stone chips, scratches etc...
The interior is in excellent condition with no rips, damage etc… The sound system is original as it left the factory.
The car comes with both keys, owners manuals, service book etc… and an extensive history including every MOT, and a huge file of receipts. It’s recently had a fresh MOT with no advisories and is HPI clear.
Things to consider doing. Occasionally there’s creaking from the lower front ball joints. It’s been that way for the past 2 years and doesn’t bother me but two brand new ball joints will come with the car if the new owner finds it annoying. I have also bought a spare timing belt kit for the next owner if they wish to do it again at some stage in the future.

If you’re looking for an excellent example of an appreciating classic with everything done to it, then this may well be a rare opportunity to acquire one of the best. I spent a very long time looking for this car and a large amount of time and money on it. Letting my Clio go is something my family have asked me to consider and not something I need or am keen to do.
