A 1984 RGS 1000 with a 120 crank engine.
Very good condition having had a sympathetic cosmetic restoration in 2021 that included all bodywork, both wheels and the main frame.
Fitted with a Witt ignition. A new set of Avon Roadrider MKII tyres and Odyssey battery fitted earlier this year. New headstock bearings fitted in 2022 along with new wheel bearings. Also fitted with a modern Brembo clutch lever (see photos).
This bike has been fettled by the great Roger Winterburn (Windy Laverda) and Keith Nairn (Laverda Scotia).
In my ownership for the last 21 years. All receipts. Bike was imported from Italy in 1994.
This bike has always been garaged and avoids the wet! Fitted with Hagon shocks but the original Marzzochi’s come with the bike. These will need reconditioning.
New front wheel worm drive fitted in 2023.
Fitted with Jota replica pipes and they sound fantastic. Good bike cover included.
