X MOD, 1986, 110 Land Rover Defender. FULL REFURB, 1500 MILES AGO. Which I am absolutely gutted to sell and will only let it go to a good home. The 110 is ex MOD, we have the original DOG TAGS ( if they are called that for vehicles, see picture ). Having served in the MOD from 1986 - 1998, it was registered for domestic / civilian road use on the 15th of July 1998. I do not know who the owner was at the time, but they had it for 18mths and sold it to a Land Rover enthusiast in early 2000. The previous owner was very meticulous and kept a detailed diary of all work on the vehicle for 9 yrs and I purchased it in 2009 and have owned it for 16 yrs it has been on the road and at times sorn off, hence the low mileage. MILAGE IS GUINIUNE I have every MOT, every receipt and spent GBP 11500 refurbing the vehicle in 2022, new bulk heads ( see 4 page receipt ) the vehicle was completely taken apart and rebuilt. I have all pics of the rebuild. Inspections welcome, it recently passed its MOT with only one flag a " small oil leak " but these are just part of is character ! I had years of fun with the kids and dog, fishing, over the fields on adventures, not off roading / green lanes but family picnics when the kids were young, they thought we was in the army. This really has been part of my family for many years and all the best years of my boys growing up. Its been parked up in the barn since 2022 and used 3-4 times a year to give it a run out. We will be sad to see it go, but its not being used as a family vehicle anymore.
